🖥️ Role Overview
We're looking for a Customer Success Manager to become a trusted expert and strategic partner to our enterprise clients: guiding them through their sustainability journey and helping them get maximum value from the Cozero platform. You'll have real room to shape your role, pick up new skills, and have a tangible impact on how we serve our customers.
This is a customer-facing role with real weight. Our clients look to their CSM to answer hard questions on carbon accounting methodologies, emission factor logic, regulatory requirements, and decarbonization planning.
You should either bring that knowledge, or be genuinely driven to build it fast. You'll have real room to shape your role, pick up new skills, and have a tangible impact on how we serve our customers.
Seniority is flexible and will be shaped by your experience. We're also open to both full-time and part-time (4 days/week) arrangements, finding the right person matters more to us than ticking a box on hours or title.
For this role it is required to be fluent in German and English at C1 level.
🎯 What you’ll do:
Account ownership & accountability: Act as the single point of accountability for the overall health and revenue trajectory of their customer portfolio.
Proactivity as the Trusted Advisor: Prioritize strategic foresight and measurable business outcomes over reactive problem-solving, maximizing customer retention and expansion opportunities.
Relationship management: Build and own complex, long-term B2B relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and dedicated sustainability or ESG teams.
Onboarding and adoption: Lead customer onboarding and implementation to ensure a smooth start, then drive platform adoption and utilization.
Climate & technical guidance: Provide strategic guidance on complex topics like carbon accounting standards (GHG Protocol, GLEC), Scope 1–3 emissions, and EU regulatory requirements (e.g., CSRD).
Value realization & retention: Ensure customers get maximum value from the platform, identify risks early, increase retention, and position relationships for renewals and expansion.
Advocacy and feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product improvements, and serve as the voice of the customer to Product, Tech, and Sales teams.
⭐ You'll thrive in this role if you bring:
3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS Customer Success or Account Management, with experience managing complex enterprise accounts.
Strong passion for climate action and knowledge of carbon accounting (CCF, PCF), sustainability reporting, and relevant compliance frameworks is a strong plus.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills to articulate value, explain complex technical and climate concepts, and consult effectively with various stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and organisational skills, with a detail-oriented approach to monitoring project timelines, managing multiple priorities, and building scalable CS processes.
Fluent in German and English (C1 is required), with an expectation to conduct customer meetings and presentations in German.

Salary range
€55,000 – €70,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
