Do you want to be part of one of Europe's fastest-growing climate tech startups? We are looking for a People & Talent Specialist with a strong growth mindset to tackle the day-to-day challenges of building and growing a business.
In this unique role, you’ll partner with our People & Talent Lead and Recruitment team to drive recruitment, onboarding, and supporting company events, while shaping an exceptional candidate and employee experience.
This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to our mission and grow within the People function.

Important requirement: We’re looking for someone with a near-native level of German (C2 level) AND fluent in English (C1 level). If it’s not your case, we'd love to consider your application for future positions where this isn't a hard requirement. For this role you need to be based in Berlin or nearby.
Your mission
You’ll take ownership of all things Talent at Cozero as we embark on the next exciting phase of our growth. Your mission will be to attract and hire exceptional talent, enabling us to scale efficiently, thoughtfully, and with clear purpose.
What will the role involve?
This is a true start-up Talent role, focused on creating a scalable and efficient approach to building a world-class team for the long term. You’ll take a highly hands-on approach, managing talent sourcing and overseeing the entire recruitment lifecycle. Collaborating closely with hiring managers and our Founders Team, you’ll provide strategic guidance and share valuable talent market insights.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Manage high-volume recruitment, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews.
Drive both inbound and outbound talent acquisition strategies to attract top candidates.
Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure seamless recruitment processes and meet hiring goals.
Track and analyze recruitment metrics to continuously improve processes.
Onboarding
Own the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for new hires.
Coordinate onboarding sessions and build plans that support a strong start for employees.
Events & Culture
Coordinate company events and foster a sense of community by aligning events with our company culture and values.
We think you’ll thrive in this role if:
You have at least 3 years of experience recruiting for high-growth (ideally early-stage) businesses, including time spent as part of an in-house talent team.
You’re outbound-focused, creative, and persistent in your approach to finding top talent.
You’ve successfully hired for both technical and non-technical roles across various seniority levels and bring deep subject matter expertise and networks in at least one area (e.g., Enterprise Sales, Software Engineering, etc.).
You excel at building strong, trusting partnerships with Hiring Managers (including Founders) and have experience leading role-scoping discussions, confidently offering guidance and pushing back when needed.
You’re fluent in the modern recruiter’s toolkit, with solid experience in essentials like LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS management, and an innovative mindset for leveraging cutting-edge Talent Tech.
You’re fluent in both German and English.
Bonus: Familiarity with HR practices and willingness to grow in a people and culture role is a plus!
